Lately, I feel everything I touch or see is reminiscent of sandy beaches, blue oceans, exotic flowers. I don't know what is going on! Lol! The real funny thing about this look, when I created it, I was just trying to pick up some of the colors on my headband. Then when I met up with my friend, she was like 'I like the tropical feel you got going on'....I was like it's official, I need a vacation!

Bombshell Nails: "Secluded Island" Tips

I went outside of my realm with this one. I am all about simplicity and this is so NOT simple. Lol! You only live once, right? I really like the color combination and I think Susan (Couture Nails) did a really great job with the design. I forgot to pay attention to the colors she used, so my sincerest apologies on that. Everytime I look at my nails I feel like I need to be on a secluded island somewhere surrounded by fresh exotic flowers, palm trees and white sandy beach. Or is that just me?

I think I have fallen for Inglot! These eyeshadows are absolutely gorgeous and they are super blendable! I love them! Did I mention how pigmented they are! Beau-ti-ful! I'm loving these lashes too! They are super light, it doesn't feel like I have anything on! $9 for 10 pairs! Can't beat that!!! This MUFE lipstick is doing it for me also! I'm winning! Lol!

My face and I have been playing connect the dots for the past week. So I have been laying off putting any makeup to prevent further agitation. Whats really weird about this breakout is the fact it was only restricted to only one side of my face. So I have really been amping up my facial regimen for a speedy recovery. It worked! It feels like it's been an extremely long time since I did a look.

I got a new camera!!! Its a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V. I absolutely love it! I get clear pictures and I can finally do a close-up of my eyes! Yay! I am still working out some of the kinks but this camera and I are going to make some beautiful 'looks' together. Lol!

MAC is gearing up to launch its latest Summer 2011 collection: Surf, Baby! This collection will feature beachy shades of bronze, coral, aqua, and white sands. It will be available on-line May 23-24 and in-stores May 26. I for one, will be checking this out. I was 'quite' smitten with their Quite Cute collection and the Magically Cool Powder collection, so I really hope this will be a hit with me too.

Overall, this was a quick and easy look to create. To keep the look from being 'over-the-top' I restricted the color only to my lids. Perfect for day!

It was "Ladies Night Out". My girls and I, intended to party it out OM Lounge in Harvard Square, but we weren't really feeling the vibe, so we ended  up at Redline. It was a good night despite a rough start. I wore a bodycon black dress with black appliques from Forever 21 and offset the dress with a pair of red patent leather peep-toe heels and I completed the look with soft muted eyes and Ruby Woo! Very Glam!

My makeup stayed on all night with only a minor glitch--the NYX cream glitter wouldn't stay put!(working on fixing that issue) But besides that Ruby Woo lasted all night with only one re-application!
