Bombshell Nails: "Silver Gems"

I am always looking for fresh innovative ideas for my nails and this by far fits the bill! I am really excited about this product right here. Its beyond cool. This is an inexpensive alternative compared to the Sephora and Sally Hassen nail decals. Nail Bliss (available exclusively at Sally's Beauty Supplies) offers a variety of 'bling' nail decals that is sure to catch attention. I love this! and depending on you this design can last up to 7-10 days, which is way more than what the packaging suggests. It's really easy to apply and take off and it doesn't damage your nails either. Definitely on heavy rotation in my stash!! Loves it!

Fierce, ain't it?!! (Tyra voice).

Bombshell Nails: Yellow Nails!

So I had enough of the acrylic! Now please understand that I have a love/hate relationship with acrylic. One minute I want them; the next they aggrevate me and I want them OFF! This was the case here, so I chewed them off one by one. (I don't recommend doing that b/c it further damages your nails) But regardless, what's done is done, right?! So now I am doing the shellac/gel manicures temporarily. These polishes are advertised to give your manicures a life line of 14 days! The only issues I have with these is that the color selection is limited-hence why I am doing this on a temp basis and why I always end up with tips again!

This is perfect for Summer! It's trendy, fresh and citris-y! Lol! That was last part was a force. Lol! I guess the real key to this look, is finding the right shade of yellow that compliments your skin tone. When rocked corretly, it is the perfect Summer accent to your wardrobe. I really love effect the polka dots, here!  It adds a layer of playfulness to the overall look without making it look kiddish!  What do you guys think? Would your try yellow nails?!!

Bombshell Nails: "Secluded Island" Tips

I went outside of my realm with this one. I am all about simplicity and this is so NOT simple. Lol! You only live once, right? I really like the color combination and I think Susan (Couture Nails) did a really great job with the design. I forgot to pay attention to the colors she used, so my sincerest apologies on that. Everytime I look at my nails I feel like I need to be on a secluded island somewhere surrounded by fresh exotic flowers, palm trees and white sandy beach. Or is that just me?

Bombshell Nails: "Audrey's Margarita" Tips

I opted out for a 'spring-y' look this time around and added the zebra design for some edge. This was created using China Glaze For Audrey and O.P.I Strawberry Margarita.

Bombshell Nails: "Sunset Sail" Tips

Sooo...this is my spin on the traditional 'french' manicure. This was created by Susan from Couture Nails. I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do, b/c I am so picky and indecisive. So we came up with this.

This was created using a new China Glaze color: Sunset Sail. Susan added the animal print for some flair. I know it's a bit boring, but boring works for me. :)!! I really like this. And yes! I am rocking a full set. Don't judge me! LOL!!! I have tried numerous times to rock my real nails, but I always end up rocking my tips! Oh well, small sacrifices.

Bombshell Nails: O.P.I Crackle Nails

I have been hitting up Couture Nails nail salon for quite sometime and I have noticed that crackle nails have been the new "IT" in nail design. When it comes to my nails, I am extremely picky. I usually reserve my nail colors to neutrals, pinks and more recently pastel colors. For whatever reason, today I decided to give crackle nails a try. Now, I am not sure if its the color combination I chose, but I am not totally impressed. I am not exactly sure what it is I don't like about it. Watching my nails 'crackle' was coolest thing to witness....and just off that alone, i thought it would be an instant hit with me. IDK.....maybe it takes some getting used to, but something is definetly stopping me from loving this look. It could be the fact its on every nail?  Everyone I have showed my nails to, have said they liked it....so maybe it's just me?

I think I am going to give this look one more try (in a different color, of course) before I cross this off my radar.

Stay tuned......
