I can't express how much I love Magnolia Makeup Pigments! These are major staples in my kit b/c they are so great when doing bright looks!!! Absolutely gorj!!!! Speaking of which, I really need to order some more colors!!!

Noticed something different about me? Yes, I am wearing a wig!!! Lol! More on that later....I really like the way this look came out and it was extremely easy to accomplish (I had a great tutor!!!!)....I actually ending up doing this exact technique, using different colors, at work and it came out amazing.

Bombshell Nails: "Silver Gems"

I am always looking for fresh innovative ideas for my nails and this by far fits the bill! I am really excited about this product right here. Its beyond cool. This is an inexpensive alternative compared to the Sephora and Sally Hassen nail decals. Nail Bliss (available exclusively at Sally's Beauty Supplies) offers a variety of 'bling' nail decals that is sure to catch attention. I love this! and depending on you this design can last up to 7-10 days, which is way more than what the packaging suggests. It's really easy to apply and take off and it doesn't damage your nails either. Definitely on heavy rotation in my stash!! Loves it!

MUL: "Canary Inferno"

I am super excited about this look. It has been a long time since I have done a cut-crease look. I tweeked my technique a bit (so I no longer have to use a creamy base to cut the crease). I am in love with the overall outcome with the exception for the lashes. The lashes, have this glossy finish to it and my camera kept picking up an annoying glare from it. All my pics minus a few exceptions have this white glare that almost looks like lash glue. *Blank stare* Needless to say I will not be purchasing this style of lash from Ardell! Besides that minute detail. I am happy with the overall outcome.

My feelings about this Summer are mixed! I accomplished a lot--this blog being one of them and I also learned a lot about myself. Not to mention, I met some really cool people. So yeah, not bad Summer 2011. I hope everyone's Summer 2011 was everything and more. If it wasn't there's alway next year God willing! Happy Hump Day!!! The weekend is almost here! I purchased this palette months, months ago. I had gone insane trying to get my hands on this, b/c at the time I was in desperate need of a 'smokey eye' palette. By chance, I found this at my local Ulta. It was the last one and it was tucked and hidden away behind a bunch of other stuff.  I was ecstatic and relieved b/c this was sold out on the NYX website. Bought it and then it got lost in the pile along with the rest of them. I was feeling extremely fierce, so I wanted a look to match! so dug into my stash and low and behold guess who came through for me?!! Enjoy!

I love, love, love!! Some people may find this a bit much for day, but to each his own! People, please stop sleeping on NYX products. They are really cost effective for the Bombshells on a budget! They are really good quality for the price! Especially if you can get your hands on a palette like this one that does it all! It can go from soft to bold, day to night. it's really up to you and the shadows last! Just a thought! :)
